1. Location Scouting:🔍Try to create a vibe that mirrors your track or the fashion shown in it. In the most recent KTO Interview, Cole Bennett mentions complementing Lil Yachty’s bright outfit to the colors on the backdrop. Find spots with color and that pop for your shoot.

2. Lighting Matters:💡The right lighting can make or break a music video. Make sure it’s the right time or make use of continuous lighting w/ a shoot-through umbrella, a soft box, led light stands, etc - experiment with 'em all. Understand each method!

3. Gear Selection: 📹 Gear up with the latest iPhone or get a professional video camera like ARRI Alexa Mini LF. Don’t forget a tripod/stabilizer, and an external mic. Want those smooth shots? Use a gimbal. Different tools make your visuals look more or less cinematic.

4. Story & Editing:⚡️Your video's narrative is key! Create a storyline or vision that complements your music's vibe. Use software like Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere & After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and use transitions and effects sparsely. Details matter, take your time.
