What’s up y’all 🔥 welcome to another week of The Dice Roll 🎲 newsletter!

One of the first steps of further developing yourself as an artist is taking inventory of what your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and external threats!

Let’s break it down…

By creating a detailed SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis with both the internal factors and external environment, an artist and their team can determine how best to navigate to achieve their goals. Find the common ground where your strengths and the external environments needs can meet. Along with the SWOT analysis, creating individual fan identity types that you want to target will help you effectively acquire those fans. That's also one of the big blessings of the digital music age is that you have that ability to target specific types of people and determine their interests, habits, and target them accordingly.

Exercise: Take a look at this chart, make a handwritten copy, and then start filling it out with bullet points per section. This will show you what works and what areas you need to focus on!
