4 Tips for Indie Artists Making Content
Four ready to use content tips
What’s up y’all⚡️here’s the August issue of the Dice Roll 🎲 newsletter.
It’s short but I’m going to give you four tips for independent artists to help you succeed when making content that you can start applying today.
Post content everyday. Keep track of what is working: try changing different stickers, trending audio choices, hashtags, tag and mention others, write post copy on videos, add captions, pick a time when users are most likely to engage or view. All those things add up your overall “algorithmic” score prior to getting any engagement which help your content get seen by users.
Use the free platform specific analytics tools and track your progress and contents reception. What’s not measured, doesn’t work. How will you know what to double down and what to stop doing.
Pick two platforms for you to focus on for everyday content. Two chances at success for your content each day. Also most users bounce between two platforms and rarely use just one.
Pick the piece of content that is doing the best with engagement and setup a campaign on your desktop computer (not mobile) and make the campaign run for no less than 7 days. Any less and it’s worthless. Also ensure that the campaign spend is at least $50 or more.
That’s all for today folks! 🥕
